It's almost time for summer reading! Just 20 minutes a day will help students retain their reading skills during the summer. Bonus: they can log their reading for a chance at a fun prize!

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We hope this message finds you well. The Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) plays an important role in supporting our school community, organizing events, and enhancing student experiences.
At this time, we are in need of additional members to continue operating effectively. Without increased participation, the PTO may not be able to sustain its current level of involvement and support.
We kindly encourage you to consider joining the PTO and contributing your time and ideas. Your involvement, whether big or small, can make a meaningful difference for our students and school.
If you are interested or would like more information, please contact us at your convenience.
Thank you for your continued support.

It's not too late! Drop your gently used book on Wednesday and get a new book!!

Coming soon....School Library Month! Look for fun contests, games, and treats in the library the whole month of April!

Join the LIE PTO for an afternoon of Movies! This is a free event!

We are having a blast at the book fair! These two lucky ladies went home with a free poster after winning the drawing.

Kinderfriends learned about capillary action today in STEM.

Monday the 2nd grade engineered a track to navigate their egg back into the nest. They got very creative, using the skills they've learned so far this year.

Students made a "wish list" that will be coming home. These are books they liked at the fair. This is not a receipt, but a way for you to see which books they have their eye on before coming to the fair.

Our spring book fair is in full swing. Stop by Tuesday or Thursday from 7:30am-8:00 pm or Wednesday from 7:30-5:00!

The Book Fair is just days away! The Fair encourages students to read AND raises much-needed funds for our school. The easiest way for kids to shop the Fair is by creating and funding your childās eWallet. No more worrying about cash, and their balances show right on the register. Third and fourth graders celebrated Read Across America week by creating their own Seuss characters and Seussy Mad Libs.

Our newest addition to Makerspace-mechanics. Students are able to practice their mechanical skills taking a bicycle apart and putting it back together.

Second grade created their own bobsleds and tracks after learning about bobsledding in the Olympics. These kids worked through lots of problems and took home successful sleds and tracks after learning they have come so far this year!!

Kinderfriends learned about figure skating and ice hockey during the Olympics. Then they crafted their own figure skaters or hockey sticks/pucks.

Preschool invited me to participate in their indoor Winter Olympics. So fun!!
