Bring the whole family for a fun-filled morning of hands-on activities and opportunities to meet the amazing community helpers who serve Big Horn County! This is a wonderful opportunity for students and families to learn about the people and organizations that help keep our community safe, healthy, and thriving.

This week at Big Horn School District #4 21CCLC Summer Camp, our students put their survival skills to the test during Wyoming Survival Camp Week! From teamwork challenges to hands-on life skills, our campers learned valuable lessons about safety, preparedness, and working together. One of the highlights of the week was our Lemonade Challenge, where students worked in teams to create the best-tasting lemonade. A special thank you to our elementary principal for taking time out of their day to serve as our official judge! The creativity, teamwork, and enthusiasm from our campers were amazing to see. We are also incredibly grateful to our local paramedics who volunteered their time to teach our students important CPR and emergency response skills. Learning how to help others in an emergency is a life-saving skill, and our campers were engaged, curious, and eager to learn. Check out some of our favorite moments from Survival Week below!

21CCLC After-School Summer Camp Program. Catering to and providing meaningful experiences for such a wide age range of students—from kindergarten through 12th grade—can certainly be a challenge. But at Beyond the Bell, we believe every child deserves opportunities to learn, explore, create, and discover their passions. That's why we work hard to incorporate a little bit of everything for everyone! This week has been filled with incredible learning experiences thanks to our amazing community partners. Students explored healthy living and cooking with One Health, enjoyed reading and enrichment activities through the Basin Library, and discovered Wyoming's fascinating geology alongside local geologist Myron Cook. From hands-on science and outdoor exploration to literacy, life skills, and creative activities, our goal is to create opportunities that engage students of all ages and interests. Watching our youngest learners and oldest students discover new skills, ask questions, and grow together has been one of the highlights of the summer. A huge thank you to our families, staff, and community partners for helping make these experiences possible. Together, we're creating a summer filled with learning, adventure, and memories that will last long after camp ends! 💙

With the help of the 5th graders, the PreK class released butterflies today. The conservation distict gave a presentation and the PreK class watched the metamorphosis process unfold in their classroom. The painted lady butterflies 🦋 arrived just in the knick of time before the kids left for summer.

PreK grabbed their suits and floaties for their swimming excursion at the aquatic center in Worland!🤿👙🩳🩱They got to swim with a mermaid!!🧜‍♀️🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Yesterday was Career Day and we had so many students dress up for the career they want to have when they grow up.

We are having a blast at the book fair! These two lucky ladies went home with a free poster after winning the drawing.

Kinderfriends learned about capillary action today in STEM.

Monday the 2nd grade engineered a track to navigate their egg back into the nest. They got very creative, using the skills they've learned so far this year.

Students made a "wish list" that will be coming home. These are books they liked at the fair. This is not a receipt, but a way for you to see which books they have their eye on before coming to the fair.

Our spring book fair is in full swing. Stop by Tuesday or Thursday from 7:30am-8:00 pm or Wednesday from 7:30-5:00!

The Book Fair is just days away! The Fair encourages students to read AND raises much-needed funds for our school.
