It was a great week of reading and imagination in our library.
Weāve seen many students feeling sick lately. Some are too ill and should stay home, while others could manage the day but want to leave. If your child's illness prevents them from learning or could spread to others, they should stay home. Balancing attendance, learning, and preventing illness can be tricky! Call or email Nurse Katie if you have questions!
Please remember to call the office if your student will be absent.

A shout out to all the little Rebels who read over Christmas break! These amazing kids enjoyed a s'mores break in the library and made some goofy memories, too.
Help your student achieve a gold medal this quarter! In honor of the Winter Olympics in February, we will be reading to win gold, silver, and bronze medals. Students will be coming home with a log to fill out as they read this quarter. Students bring logs back to the library by March 11th to compete for a medal!

Thank you for supporting our fundraiser so far this first week. If you registered kid didn't get all their goodies... We ran out but have more coming our way we'll make sure they get them. Next up, once your student sells 3 items, there are white coupons that can be turned into Miss Lacosta at school, and they will get a hype crew keychain. Again, thank you for the support. We look forward to event planning for this upcoming year!

Arrr, Matey!! Friday was talk like a pirate day and Ms. Hing's PreK class enjoyed celebrating and learning about pirates. š°š“āā ļøThey were joined by Superintendent Campbell, Nurse Winters, and Principal Seeley.
We scream for ice cream! Our 1st graders learned about lowering the temperature of ice to create ice cream.
Kindergarten kiddos tried out our new watercolor palettes while creating unique art.
