14:  Rebel Boys Basketball Awards Banquet, Thursday, March 14th @ 6:00 p.m. @ RMHS Cafeteria (bring a small dessert)

14:  Lady Rebel Basketball Awards Banquet, Thursday, March 14th @ 6:30 p.m. @ Fairgrounds (potluck dinner, sign up with Kellie Gloy)

14:  PROM – Prom is April 6th

Village Shoppe from Cody will be here March 14th sometime after 3:00 p.m.  Boys needing fit for a tux can stop in.  They require half of required payment on March 14th.  Village Shoppe may bring some dresses in as well for girls to look through.

REMINDERS/COMMUNITY EVENTS

Volunteer/Community Service

RHS students here's a fantastic opportunity for you to earn volunteer hours for scholarships.  Mrs Wildman needs help sorting and delivering daffodils for the American Cancer Society on March 20th and/or March 21st.  If you are interested in earning those volunteer hours, please contact Mrs. Wildman or let Mrs. Cervantes know.

 

PROM – Prom is April 6th

Essence of Beauty Salon has prom dresses available.  They put together a huge variety of used and new prom dresses all sizes.  Prices starting as low as $10.  Great opportunity to not have to travel.  Open Tuesday-Saturday 9-6.  Call if you have questions 765-2850

Support your local baseball team by filling out a bracket.

50% of entry fees will go to the Legion

BASIN 18 & UNDER FAST PITCH SOFTBALL SIGN-UPS

Mrs. Miller will need a baby picture & senior photo for yearbook.  If you wish to use the same photos from the Senior Slideshow or Senior Sports program let Mrs. Cervantes know.  Deadline for yearbook won’t be until Feb/Mar.

Federal Student Aid is in its final stages of transitioning away from paper publications.  FSA's current offering of publications and resources will continue to be available electronically.

  • For Students and Parents go to gov/resourcesso you can view electronic versions of publications, fact sheets, online tools, and other resources to help prepare and pay for college or career school. StudentAid.gov is FSA's informational website for students, parents, and borrowers.

Note: In summer 2018, we will provide guidance on StudentAid.gov for how students and parents can request paper copies of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) PDF after the Aug. 30 distribution shutdown.

KID CARE CHIP

The Children’s Health insurance program (CHIP) provides affordable health coverage for eligible Wyoming children and teens ages 0-18.  Coverage:  sports & back to school physicals, regular check-ups, immunizations, dentist visits, hospital care, mental health services, prescriptions, and more.

CIVIC RESPONSIBILITY

Just a reminder, all 17- and 18-year-old guys: When you turn 18, the law says you have to register with the Selective Service (you can even register early!). It’s your civic responsibility and keeps you eligible for student loans, job training, government jobs, and driver’s licenses in most states. You can get your Selective Service registration card at your local post office or register at www.sss.gov.
